His lack of compassion really shows here- and that's why he avoided the obvious point Jay was trying to make about so-called "failed" programs. Medicare is helping millions, but Rush thinks it has failed because it doesn't make money and the government puts more and more money into it. A complete difference of perspective.
Not every venture needs to be a profitable one. You'd have millions of really pissed off people should medicare go away, as well as other programs.
