My granddaughter Shannon stayed over last night which takes a lot of our time you could say we had our hands full. I'm going for a coffee this morning

This morning I’m having a battle of patience with these three flies. I hate them and they are driving me up the wall. I have my flyswatter (maybe I need to get one of those fly gun or flygun, a derivative of the fly swatter, uses a spring-loaded plastic projectile to "swat" flies. Blue skies all day long. . .

Just finish my first rounds today and I’m going to make breakfast for myself. Beverly headed out over a half hour ago; she popped her head into the studio and waved goodbye as she was eating a peach. Liz is still in Sussex where she has been for the weekend. Well, we did not get out on Sunday as I had planed but instead I made a really great salad for Beverly when she got home. Mysterious Montain

Working on the Thursday File for next week; listening to Alan Hovhaness’ Symphony number two . It was completed in 1955 and he named it ‘Mysterious Mountain’ – I love it. I woke up early this morning to the sound of birds out side my window having an argument; is that possible. The fog outside is so thick even the birds are under cover. I woke up early this morning with a very bad migraine headache. I’ve take some medicine but it’s still pounding away. I hope it’s going to be a good day out today. I get up early most mornings but yesterday, Sunday I slept in. Saturday night I was up late watching old TV programs on DVDs; finally succumbing at 2am. Once up though I made breakfast for two – something simple - a beagle with cheese, egg and bacon. Beverly dropped me off at Chapters/Starbucks; she had to work. I woke up this morning with a headache; it was if a large sledge hammer were striking an anvil, over and over until the last sound was mixed with the next strike. Well I was a little bit more prepared this morning – got everything set up before I started, which got me off to a good start. So far today we have had a little sun, a little rain, but mostly it has just been cloudy and foggy. I worked on the Thursday File late last night to finish it off and schedule it for today’s mailing. The last thing I looked at was my schedule for today. But between leaving the computer and hitting the sack my little tired gray cells missed something – I set my alarm and decided to sleep in until 5:45; giving me a good 45 minutes to get ready for my first call. Solzhenitsyn died on Sunday

Sunday was really good but the lawn did not fair too well with all the cars but the amount of rain we’re having it should bounce back quickly. I woke up at 5:00 but stayed in bed until 5:30 listening to the rain. It’s rally coming down. I’m off work until 1pm but my afternoon is a packed one going right to 5:30 without a break. As you know The Eagles played last night in Moncton just down the road from us and the girls Liz and Jessica decided to earn a little cash; parking cars; this drew in Beverly and since we also had Shannon over well the only boy out there was Anthony and he was a hit. Today I got up late at 5:30 so I was in a bit of a rush – but I still made my call at 6am with a full mug of black coffee. Sleepless night leads into along day

I could not sleep last night – up at 3:30 a.m. My mind would not turn off; knowing that sleep was past I came downstairs to read which turned into working a touch on the computer. Nathan and Shirley came up for dinner yesterday but I was out of it with a strong headache. I wasn’t so much fun. It looks like it’s going to be a wonderful day out there; not a cloud in the sky. We worked on our garden yesterday for over four hours. Reformat Hard Drive

Yea I had to do that. Got a rather horrid virus on my system. So in the process of restoring my XP system software I lose the ability of frontpage, no big losing interest in toppers-tap anyway and powweb is slower than molasses. The hard drive went from 75% full to maybe 87% empty. What intrigues me is how little I care about what it is I lost in the process. All of my e-mail is at my service provider, and all the links I frequent are at pageflakes… Continue

As I look out the window, it's about 7:30am, I slept in, there's little wind yet lots of clouds covering the sky but for the moment the sun is out casting long shadows across the property. Rain today

It was raining when I got up at 5:20am we need it after two weeks of hot sunny weather with temps at 25 - 32. But it is not enough. It looks a little overcast at the moment but I hope it clears up. Yes it was a good meal with great news; over all, a very good day.

Up early, the sun is out and the rest of the house is quiet except for Willow our dog, he has come in and sat down beside me in the studio - I can hear him breathing. I tryed something new on my home page here last week or so and it did not work. Every time I went to my home page it would flip to the main page. I was getting very frustrated, but my son was up last night to help with the garden. Just a quick thought on grabbing that "white vote"

Clinton is being deemed racist because of recent comments about having secured the "white vote". (I am not sure of the exact verbage as I ignore most of the primary news now. Tragedy Hits A Fellow Seeker

I'm so saddened today. One of the saddest twitters I ever saw came up in my stream. A frequent contributor to the Seeker Hotline, CA Sizemore, lost his wife this morning. I believe she had been struggling with some health issues, but obviously that doesn't make the pain any less. dinner with my love

Two years ago I received a phone call from a friend in the local ATV office, "they needed extras for a restaurant TV ad they were filming" I drop everything and head down to the location. I've been very sick last week

I've really been out of it. I started to get ill on Sunday April 20 and went down hill from there. I did get the ‘Thursday File’ out on time but it was touch and go. I could only work at the computer for a short time each time I did get on. I'm still not over it but I must say I do feel a lot better. - my tomato plants are coming around - our trip to Halifax we put off until next week - we have now decided on where we are going to put the new garden - it’s a great day out today and I might j… Continue

my tomatoes +

I planted my tomato seeds yesterday (only two weeks late) 5 different types all organic and heritage. Anthony was sick with a fever and cold; looking very bad – Liz, his mom, and Beverly took him to the hospital last night -- they got there by 6:30 pm. They did not get home until 12:30 am. I waited up for them. Made a little snack - they were hungry then I headed to la, la land; 1:00 am. I woke up at what I thought was 5:30 to take my lesson at 6.
