While I generally agree with the cost issue as you put it and totally agree with your last sentence, I think most people just don't think the current system is fair or even moral. I think providing healthcare to all citizens is a moral imperative....

And all the right wing rabid Conservatives are trying hard to hid their glee. Gee, if their actor hero, Reagan, had gone overseas to help bring the Olympics to America would they have been attacking him day and night? I've heard some Conservativ...

It's a good book. I loved his argument about how the US is really a more liberal nation than a conservative one. Not based on stupid polls, but based on getting down to the actual issues people are concerned about and want for themselves and the c...

I borrowed a copy of the CD for Michael Moore's 2002 book "Stupid White Men". Learned a lot, especially about how Bush stole Florida in 2000 with the help of Jeb. He really did steal it, you know? It's not a figment of someone's imagination. Her...

I'm a part time photographer
I sor tof hit "photographers block" about ayear ago
I ran out of things in SB to take pics of
SB Mission, the wharf, the courthouse, the old presedio, etc
Then I read some where that some photographers take the picture of the SAME THING for years (decades)
One guy well established photgrapher has taken pic of the Brooklyn Bridge for decades
Each shot IS different
The lighting, the shadows, the people, the cars, etc
So I decided Storke Tower (on UCSB campus) was gonna be my ONE THING
It is a beautiful tower

I keep my face and address private on the net
